Kandace A. Smith

Recognized as one of the “Best Oralist”, Kandace Smith is a third year law student at Rutgers Law School. Kandace has been awarded the LAWR II Best Oral Argument Award and Hunter Moot Court Team Best Oralist Award. She is also the VP of the Black Law Student Association, a LAWR Teaching Assistant, and member of the Minority Student Program. Motivated to serve underserved, underrepresented, and marginalized communities continues her education and efforts. After graduating in this upcoming spring, Kandace hopes to work as an attorney at Dechert LLP furthering the firm’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
