Personal Statement

Ms. Joyner is a staff editor of the Drexel Law Review, dean’s list recipient, and awardee of the CALI Excellence for the Future award and Best Student Performance in Legal Methods award. Concurrently excelling in her studies and motherhood, Shadai also volunteers with the PA Innocence Project and teaches Constitutional Law to high school student in the Philadelphia Area. As an advocate for civil liberties, equal rights, and education, Shadai seeks to use her legal education as an attorney to advocate for these causes.
