Deneya Gadson is a Philadelphia native and an alumna of Temple University with an honorary
B.A. in Criminal Justice. She has honed skills and experience in legal administration in the
public interest and litigation sector, communications, and marketing & advertising. Her
professional record extended to two of the most profound legal aid organizations in the country,
Community Legal Services of Philadelphia as a Paralegal in the Housing Unit and as an Office
Manager at The Public Defender Service of D.C. in the Mental Health Division.
Deneya has also worked at Lincoln Finacial Group, Tucker Law Group, and at The City of Philadelphia in various departments: The District Attorney’s Office Trials Division, The Mayor’s Office, and The
Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation. As an advocate for Tenant Rights, Deneya has
lobbied with City Counsel to implement housing programs and laws. She has also volunteered
with Representative Vincent J. Hughes at community education events to provide housing
resources and at expungement clinics. Taking her legal journey abroad, in 2017 Deneya attended
Temple Rome’s campus and worked at SQ Law Firm in Italy on humanitarian projects, data and
case management, and client relations. She is also a proud alumnus of Breakthrough of Greater
Philadelphia, a non-profit enrichment college preparatory program.
Continuing a great fight, Deneya is also an advocate for mental health awareness, womanhood
advancements, animal rights, and Black creative’s rights. Deneya is an aspiring future attorney
that hopes to practice in the intellectual property and litigation industry
