Lanique A. Roberts, Esq. is a commercial litigation associate at Sherman, Silverstein,
Kohl, Rose, & Podolsky, P.A. She has been recognized on the Best Lawyers “Ones to
Watch” 2022 and 2023 lists, as well as the Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Stars
2022 list and has a diverse legal background, including previously representing clients
in domestic relations litigation.
Lanique has had a passion for service to the community and the elevation of black
women in the legal profession since she began practicing law in 2017. She is active in
the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania legal communities, having held various positions in
local and state bar associations, and currently serving as a Philadelphia delegate for the
Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates and an executive board member for
the Pennsylvania Bar Association Women in the Profession Commission. Lanique is
also a board member of the Philadelphia Community Legal Services Justice Rising
Advocates and has previously provided pro bono legal services to the homeless and
low-income populations across Philadelphia. Throughout her legal career, Lanique has
exhibited a commitment to strategizing for solutions surrounding diversity, equity, and
inclusion, having previously served on various diversity committees, including an alumni
association diversity, equity, and inclusion task force.
Lanique is excited to continue her passion for the elevation and black women in the
legal profession with WLD and plans to use her skills and experience to bring
perspective and continued organized communication to the Corresponding Secretary
position.
