Maxélle Neufville is an Assistant City Solicitor at the City of Philadelphia Law Department, in the Real Estate and Development Unit, where she provides counsel on real estate transactional matters to the various departments of city government.
Prior to serving as an Assistant City Solicitor, Maxélle served as an Attorney-Advisor for the U.S. Small Business Administration, where she undertook legal review of pandemic-era emergency loans to small businesses across the nation.
A 2019 graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, while a law student, Maxélle was a Staff Editor on the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and served on the International Law Association’s and Christian Legal Society’s executive boards. She has been involved in the Philadelphia chapter of the Women Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association since she began law school, and in 2017 was awarded the chapter’s Sadie T.M. Alexander Book Scholarship.
Maxélle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Japanese from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. In her free time she enjoys board games and trying local restaurants.
