Darelee M. Hamilton is a Senior Trial Attorney at the Law Offices of Richard A.
Steiger, Pennsylvania Staff Counsel at Allstate Insurance Company.
Prior to joining the Allstate, Ms. Hamilton specialized in Complex Civil litigation
and Employment litigation. Ms. Hamilton is a former Assistant District Attorney serving
the Commonwealth at the District Attorney’s Office of Philadelphia. During her time
there, Ms. Hamilton spent thousands of hours in courtrooms prosecuting cases in both
Philadelphia Municipal Courts and the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Ms.
Hamilton prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanor and major felony offenses from the
Preliminary Hearing stage through trial, with multiple successful guilty convictions.
Prior to serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Hamilton clerked for The
Honorable Sheila Woods-Skipper, President Judge Emeritus of the Philadelphia Court
of Common Pleas. She also interned for The Honorable Paul W. Grimm of the United
States District Court for the Southern District of Maryland as a law student. During her clerkships, Ms.
Hamilton researched complex legal issues, drafted memoranda and legal opinions, and
observed various court proceedings.
Ms. Hamilton is a native of Belize, Central America, and enjoys traveling and
outdoor activities.
