Shirneil Mersier

Shirneil Merisier is a third year law student currently pursuing her J.D. at Rutgers Law School. Motivated by advocacy, striving to educate vulnerable populations of their rights, and making resources easily accessible, Shirneil set out her legal journey to become an attorney. She is the first-generation law student in her family. Shirneil has simultaneously excelled in her coursework and worked full-time at various law firms and legal organizations. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Global Target Chair, and former member of Penn State’s Residence Life and Association. Shirneil anticipates joining the justice front-line defense and serve as a public interest attorney.
