ABA Legal Expert Author Pool

The Legal Expert Author Pool (LEAP) is a new project offered by the Center for Racial & Ethnic Diversity and ABA Publishing. LEAP establishes and maintains a pool of diverse authors who have expertise in a wide range of legal topics. The LEAP project facilitates connections between these authors who have a willingness to write for periodicals and the publishing entities that have committed to the LEAP project. CONGRATULATIONS

The Honorable Covette Rooney has been named Chief Administrative Law Judge at the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. Rooney, who has served as an ALJ at the Review Commission since 1996, first became an ALJ at the Social Security Administration in 1994. She is the first woman and only African American to hold this title at the Review Commission.
